
Isabella Magnelli Closes Illustrious Kentucky Career with Seventh All-America Honor
FORT WORTH, Texas – By virtue of her ninth-place performance at the 2025 NCAA National Championships, fifth year Isabella Magnelli has earned Second Team All-America Honors on the balance beam. The honor marks her seventh career All-America laurel, including six on her signature event.
The Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) announced the 2025 WCGA National Championship All-Americans on Thursday, celebrating the top student-athletes participating in the NCAA National Collegiate Gymnastics Championship. First Team All-America shall be awarded to the top four finishers, plus ties, from each of the two preliminary sessions at the NCAA Championship for all four events plus the all-around. Second Team All-America shall be awarded to the fifth through eighth place finishers, plus ties, from each of the two preliminary sessions at the NCAA Championships for all four events plus the all-around.
Magnelli placed fifth in the second session—ninth overall—on the balance beam, delivering another excellent performance to score a 9.9125 in the final routine of her collegiate career. Magnelli wrapped up her season with scores of 9.9+ in 13 of her 14 beam routines. The Suffern, N.Y. native wrapped up her time as a Wildcat with 25 scores of 9.925 or higher, including a pair of 9.975s, 12 9.950s, and 11 9.925s.
This is Magnelli’s third All-America honor this season—earning First Team Regular Season honors on both vault and beam. With her postseason recognition, Magnelli closes her book at Kentucky with seven All-American honors, with six on the balance beam. In 2023 and 2024, Magnelli earned Second Team Regular Season honors and First Team National Championship laurels on her signature event.
