Donations for Kentucky Flood Relief Accepted Outside Kroger Field at “Tyler Childers On The Road” April 19

LEXINGTON, Ky. — The recent flooding in Kentucky has once again devastated parts of our Commonwealth, impacting many members of our community.

On April 19 – the day of the Tyler Childers On The Road Concert – UK Athletics and Hickman Holler Appalachian Relief Fund are partnering to accept donated supplies outside of Kroger Field at Gate 1 and Gate 9 from 3:30 – 8 p.m. ET. 

The concert begins at 6:30 p.m. ET.  Stadium gates open at 4:30 p.m.

The Hickman Holler Appalachian Relief Fund was established in 2020 by Senora May and Tyler Childers to bring awareness and financial support for philanthropic efforts in the Appalachian Region and other communities in their home state of Kentucky.

All donations received by the Hickman Holler Appalachian Relief Fund this weekend will be activated and directed to flood relief efforts in Kentucky. The CFMT will process the donations. 

Donate supplies: 

Essential supplies are needed to support relief efforts. In-kind donations can be dropped off at designated locations. 

Needed Items: 

  • Non-perishable foods  
  • Paper goods (toilet paper, paper towels)  
  • Cleaning supplies  
  • Bottled water
