LEXINGTON, Ky. –  Fresh on the heels of a three-match win streak, the Kentucky men’s tennis team (14-10, 5-7 SEC) aims to continue its momentum as it heads into the postseason, closing out regular season play with a pair of home matches at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Complex this weekend. The Cats will start their final conference weekend by hosting No. 22 Oklahoma (14-7, 7-5 SEC) on Thursday, April 10 at 5 p.m. ET before welcoming Arkansas (16-11, 4-8 SEC) on Saturday, April 12 at 1 p.m. ET.

The Wildcats are looking to close out a perfect home season, currently holding a 12-0 record in matches played at the Boone. Since 2021, Kentucky holds an impressive 69-5 record in matched played in Lexington.

Kentucky boasts four entries in the latest ITA rankings, led by No. 18 Eli Stephenson and Jack Loutit on the doubles side. In singles, Loutit leads the way at No. 50, followed by No. 58 Antoine Ghibaudo and No. 93 Jaden Weekes. Loutit, Weekes, and Matt Rankin have all posted double-digit singles wins during the 2025 dual season.

The Sooners are set to come to Lexington for the first time as a Southeastern Conference opponent, taking on the Cats for the first time since 2020. Kentucky will be aiming for its second all-time victory over Oklahoma and the first since 2013. The Sooners boast a pair of ranked singles players in No. 78 Oscar Lacides—who also ranks No. 26 in doubles alongside Bruno Nhavene— and No. 91 Luis Alvarez.

The Cats will close the regular season against Arkansas, who will trek up Interstate 65 following a Thursday match at Vanderbilt. The Hogs are led by No. 48 Lukas Palovic in singles and No. 19 Connor Smillie and Jakub Vrba in doubles. The Wildcats have defeated Arkansas in each of the last seven meetings, including eliminating the Razorbacks in three of the last four SEC Tournaments.

All home matches will be played at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Complex, and admission is free to the public for all regular season contests. A live stream will be provided for all home matches on UKAthletics.com.
