Kentucky-Ole Miss Baseball Series Faces Schedule Adjustment

The series opener between Kentucky and No. 9 Ole Miss has been postponed due to heavy rain in the Lexington area as well as potential severe weather. As it stands, the teams will attempt to play a doubleheader on Friday, April 4 beginning at 3 p.m. ET. Both games are scheduled for nine innings.

The new series schedule is as follows:

Game 1 – Friday, April 4 at 3 p.m. ET (DH-1)

Game 2 – Friday, April 4 approximately 50 minutes after game one is completed (DH-2)

Game 3 – Saturday, April 5 at 2 p.m. ET

The Cats (17-9, 4-5 Southeastern Conference) are returning to Kentucky Proud Park after taking two of three games last weekend at preseason top-ranked Texas A&M in which the Cats scored 31 runs and hung seven runs on all three of the Aggies’ starting pitchers.

Tickets to Thursday’s originally scheduled game now will be valid for game one on Friday. If fans have a single-game ticket but can’t attend the make-up game, please reach out to where the ticket was purchased for a potential refund.
