Cats Return Home, Welcome Ole Miss For Thursday Contest

LEXINGTON, Ky. – After two straight weeks on the road, Kentucky men’s tennis (11-10, 4-7 SEC) returns home for its final five matches of the regular season, starting the home stand with an Southeastern Conference showdown with Ole Miss (11-10, 2-9 SEC). The match is set to begin at 5 p.m. ET on Thursday, April 3 from the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Complex in Lexington. Admission is free to all fans and free pizza will be provided at the match.

The Cats are looking to defend their perfect 9-0 record at the Boone this season while also snapping a four-match losing skid. The Cats are led by Jack Loutit who ranks No. 19 in doubles alongside Eli Stephenson and also checks in at a team-leading No. 61 in singles. No. 62 Antoine Ghibaudo and No. 81 Jaden Weekes also feature as ranked singles players for the Cats.

No. 51 Kai Milburn and Isac Stromberg feature as the only ranked Rebels, holding down the top doubles spot for Ole Miss. The Rebels are seeking their first SEC win away from Oxford and their first win against the Cats since 2017 and their first win over Kentucky in Lexington since the 2010 SEC Tournament.

All home matches will be played at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Complex, and admission is free to the public for all regular season contests. A live stream will be provided for all home matches on UKAthletics.com.
