Hailey Davis, Isabella Magnelli Named to All-SEC Team
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Two Wildcats—Hailey Davis and Isabella Magnelli—were named to the All-SEC Gymnastics Team for their performances during the 2025 regular season, the conference announced Wednesday. This is Davis’s first career league honor while Magnelli has now earned the distinction for the third consecutive season.
The All-SEC Team is comprised of the student-athletes with the top eight scores (including ties) on each event and in the All-Around competition through the regular season based on National Qualifying Score (NQS) on March 17.
Davis has enjoyed a stellar year on the floor exercise, excelling in the anchor spot for the Cats for the first time in her career. She currently holds a NQS of 9.930, good for No. 14 nationally. The New Bern, N.C. native finished the regular season tied for seventh in the conference on the event to earn her first career All-SEC honor.
Davis has been a model of consistent excellence on the event, scoring 9.900 or higher in all but one floor routine this season and in 21 of her last 24 routines dating back to the start of last season. She has won four event titles on floor this season and earned a career high of 9.975 against Arkansas on her senior night. She has received a 10.0 from one judge in two of her past three meets.
Magnelli has been a standout for Kentucky on vault and beam this season, ranking top ten nationally in every week this season. The Suffern, N.Y. native finished the regular season ranked sixth in the NCAA and fourth in the SEC on the beam with a 9.935 NQS. Magnelli also finished ranked seventh nationally and fourth in the conference on vault with a 9.925 NQS, making her the only specialist in the country to rank in the top eight on multiple events.
Magnelli has continued her supreme level of excellence on the beam this season to help her earn her third straight All-SEC honor. Magnelli scored 9.900 or higher in every meet this season on the event, including a career high 9.975 against Arkansas in her final meet in Lexington. Her 9.927 average on the beam is the best in the SEC and is No. 2 in the country. Magnelli is a four-time All-American on the balance beam but has enjoyed her best season to date by earning her highest finish in the regular season standings and matching her career best NQS.
Magnelli has also excelled on the vault table, recording career best national rankings and NQS to help lead a Kentucky team that is ranked No. 5 in the nation on the event. Magnelli has matched her career high of 9.950 twice this season. Magnelli finished the regular season with 10 event titles (four on vault and six on beam) to bring her career total to 25.
