Federal Way, Wa. – The Kentucky women’s swimming and diving team sent three student-athletes to compete at the 2025 NCAA Championship in Federal Way, Washington last week, wrapping up the season with intense competition.
The Wildcats representing the women’s team were senior Abby Devereaux, fifth-year Bridget Engel, and junior Grace Frericks. Devereaux competed on the platform dive, finishing 44th with a score of 208.90. Engel, in her last NCAA competition, finished 22nd in the 100 breast and 27th in the 200 breast. In her third NCAA competition, Frericks competed in three events finishing 69th in the 50 free, 47th in the 100 back, and 34th in the 200 back.
This marks the end of the NCAA season for the women’s Wildcats, and the men’s team will send four additional student-athletes to compete later this week in Washington once again.
