LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky swim team will send a talented group of athletes to the 2025 CSCAA National Invitational Championship (NIC), which will be held from March 13-15 at the Florida Aquatics Swimming and Training Facility in Ocala, FL. The Wildcats will compete with a strong roster of 24 swimmers, 12 men and 12 women, each looking to make their mark on the national stage.

On the men’s side, Kentucky will be represented by John Broome, Logan Ingerick, Drew Johnson, Aaron Gasiewicz, Devin Naoroz, Murilo Amatuzzi, Caue Gluck, Johnathan Rom, Ralf Roose, Eli Greinke, Alec Lampen, and Szymon Mieczkowski. These swimmers will compete in a variety of events, with several aiming to claim top finishes in the sprints, distance events, and IMs.

The women’s team will be led by Fernanda Goeij, Katy Jost, Lydia Hanlon, Denise Phelan, Paige Taber, Marie Belli, Billie Sherratt, Libby Grether, Madilyn McGlothen, Hayden Penny, Lauren West, and Avery Frece. Kentucky’s women’s squad has a balanced mix of upperclassmen and emerging freshmen, with swimmers set to compete in a variety of strokes.

The CSCAA National Invitational Championship is a fantastic opportunity for swimmers to compete at a high level and gain experience in a national championship environment. The swimmers qualified for the event by achieving NCAA B-Cuts or Zone standards, or by surpassing the CSCAA ‘A’ standard during the season.

The Wildcats will be looking to build upon their strong performances throughout the season and take advantage of this chance to compete against some of the best swimmers from around the country. The meet results will be available on the MeetMobile app for those who wish to follow along.
