LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky diving team is headed to the NCAA Diving Zone C Championships on March 10-12 at The Ohio State University, and it’s shaping up to be an exciting few days of high-level diving. These Zone Championships are the ultimate proving ground for divers hoping to punch their tickets to the NCAA Championship later in the month.

March 10 kicks things off with the men’s 1-meter event, where fifth-year Sam Duncan, freshman Landon Isler, and sophomore Gavin Hang will look to make an immediate impact. At the same time, the women’s 3-meter competition will bring together senior Abby Devereaux, sophomore Devynn Bishop, freshman Avery Giese, fifth-year Claire McDaniels, and sophomore Kristy Pfaff.

On March 11, the focus shifts to the men’s 3-meter event, with Duncan, Isler, and Hang competing for top spots. The women’s 1-meter event will also take place, with Devereaux, Bishop, Giese, McDaniels, and Pfaff showing off their precision and technique as they go for their best dives.

The zone competition will wrap up on March 12 with the platform events. The women’s platform will feature Devereaux, Bishop, Giese, and McDaniels. For the men, Landon Isler will be representing in the platform event.

The NCAA Diving Zone Championships at The Ohio State University will provide one final opportunity for divers to secure their spots in the NCAA National Championships. With a field of talented athletes across both men’s and women’s events, this competition will be a great test. March 10-12 will showcase a range of diving disciplines, with top divers aiming to qualify and make their mark on the national stage.
