
Kentucky-Eastern Kentucky Wednesday Contest is Cancelled

Due to the forecast of rain, heavy winds and dropping temperatures in the Lexington area Wednesday afternoon’s home game against Eastern Kentucky has been cancelled. No make-up date has been set at this time.
No. 23 Kentucky’s next game will be Friday against Wofford to open a three-game weekend series at Kentucky Proud Park.
On Tuesday, the Wildcats scored a 16-0 seven-inning, run rule victory over EKU in Richmond behind the pitching staff’s third shutout and an offensive explosion capped by Shaun Montoya’s grand slam. It was UK’s ninth consecutive victory.
