Big Blue Nation also can watch the game on SEC Network, with Sam Gore and Tamika Catchings on the call.
The Wildcats enter the game 21-5 overall, including 10-4 in the Southeastern Conference and 13-2 in Historic Memorial Coliseum. The Cats are in their final stretch of the regular season, facing three opponents all ranked inside the Associated Press Top 11 – No. 7 LSU, No. 11 Tennessee, No. 6 South Carolina.
UK dropped the first of those three contests to LSU, 65-58, last Sunday. Despite leading for more than 24 minutes, UK came up just short, taking a seven-point loss and falling to 4-3 against ranked foes in 2024-25.
In that meeting, Dazia Lawrence, redshirt senior guard, eclipsed 1,500 career points, the second leading career scorer on the team. Clara Strack, sophomore center, came within one block of tying the individual single-season school record. She currently has 65, and she needs just one more to tie or two more to break the 15-year-old benchmark (66). The Wildcats also came within one block of tying the team single-season school record. They currently have 180, needing one more to tie or two more to break the 13-year-old school record (181).
Clara Silva, freshman center, also had a career outing against the Tigers on Sunday, putting up 12 points on 6-of-6 shooting from the field, while she also added a career-high eight rebounds and three blocks. It marked the second game this season she has gone perfect from the field, also going 6-of-6 in the season opener against USC Upstate on Nov. 4.
Georgia Amoore led her team in scoring against the Tigers – for the 14th game this season – recording 16 points and adding five assists. It marked her 17th game this season with at least 15 points and at least five assists, while no SEC player has accomplished that feat since at least 2002-03.
She also hit a trio of 3-pointers in the game, needing just seven more – her single-game season high – to eclipse 400.
The Wildcats enter the contest with the Lady Volunteers in fourth place in the league standings, hoping to keep their chances of a SEC Tournament double bye alive.
Thursday will mark the 78th all-time meeting between the Kentucky and Tennessee. Kentucky trails the series with Tennessee, 61-16, which began in 1976. UK also trails UT in games played in Lexington, 23-10.
The last time the Wildcats defeated the Lady Volunteers was in the SEC Tournament Semifinals on March 5, 2022, 83-74, en route to knocking off the one, two and three seeds to be crowned champions. The last time the Cats defeated the Lady Vols at home was Feb. 11, 2021, 71-56.
