Vault Propels Kentucky to 196.500 at Sprouts Collegiate Quad

LEXINGTON, Ky. – After scoring the highest vault team score of the session with an impressive 49.425, the University of Kentucky gymnastics team posted an overall team score of 196.500 to finish in second overall at the third session of the 2025 Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad inside the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City.

UCLA claimed the top spot in the third session with a 197.550 with Ohio State finishing third with a 196.425 and Arkansas fourth with a 195.875. The Spouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad featured 12 teams spread across three sessions.

Heading into the final rotation in third place, Kentucky shined on its final event of the night, posting one of the highest vault scores of the young season, nationally. The team score on the event was the best of the night in the third session and it was UK’s final three performers that put the exclamation point on the high mark. Sophomore Delaynee Rodriguez started the rotation with a 9.625, followed by a 9.800 from sophomore Cecily Rizo. After another 9.800 from freshman Ryan Noonan, fifth-year star Isabella Magnelli stuck a 9.925 to get the high scoring started. She was followed by senior Makenzie Wilson, who scored a 9.950. Anchoring the vault was true freshman Anna Flynn Cashion, who was inserted into the lineup just before the event started and stuck her first collegiate vault routine for a 9.950.

The strong vault score propelled Kentucky past Ohio State to finish in second place at the competitive meet.

Kentucky started its night on uneven bars, scoring a team score of 49.025 after several impressive performances. It was senior Jillian Procasky who led Kentucky with a 9.9, just off her career best mark. Noonan started her collegiate career in style with a 9.850, while fifth-year Hailey Davis scored a 9.775. Isabella Rivelli, Rodriguez and Skylar Killough-Wilhelm each scored 9.750.

UK’s second rotation was beam, where the Wildcats did not have to count a fall and performed well overall. Magnelli was the star, earning an impressive 9.925, just shy of her career best score, to pace Kentucky. Sophomore Creslyn Brose and fifth-year Skylar Killough-Wilhelm each scored 9.8s while true freshman Carly Busch posted a 9.7 and Rodriguez ended the scoring with a 9.6. Kentucky dropped the score of true freshman Chesney Bennett, who posted a 8.975. Overall, UK posted a team score of 48.825 on beam.

It was floor exercise – the third rotation for Kentucky – where they really go some momentum going. The Wildcats were strong on the floor, posting a team score of 49.225. Rodriguez started things off strong with a 9.85, which was just shy of her career high of 9.875. Magnelli posted a 9.8 in the second spot, followed by a 9.825 from Procasky, which was just off her career high of 9.875. The biggest floor score from Kentucky came from Davis, who posted a 9.925, which was just off her career best of 9.95. After a 9.175 from Killough-Wilhelm, Brose posted a strong 9.825 to wrap the rotation and set up UK’s momentum for a strong vault.

Kentucky will return to action next weekend for its home opener and Historic Memorial Coliseum soft opening. The meet will begin at 7 p.m. ET against Alabama, marking UK’s Southeastern Conference opener. Tickets are still available at UKathletics.com/tickets.
