With Amoore leading the floor, UK won each of its first two league games by at least 18 points for the second time in program history and the first time since 1992-93. The team also scored at least 91 points in each of its first two league games for the first time in program history.
Amoore knocked down seven 3-pointers against the Bulldogs last Thursday, one shy of the individual single-game school record, while it marked the second time in a stretch of three games that she has knocked down as many. She drained three more against the Commodores on Sunday.
Amoore became just the second player in program history (joined with Rhyne Howard) to make at least seven 3-pointers in two games in the same season.

Her effort from behind the arc helped her team break the single-game school record for 3-pointers (18) against the Bulldogs and then hit 15 more against the Commodores. It marked the first time in program history that the Wildcats have hit at least 15 3-pointers in back-to-back games.
Moreover, in scoring 51 points across the two games, she shot over 47.0 percent from the field and over 50.0 percent from the arc, while also assisting on 18 other baskets.
Amoore didn’t just score, she also delivered nine assists in each game, maintaining her SEC lead in that category and second in the nation.
She also went a combined 7-of-7 from the line in those games, also maintaining her SEC lead in free-throw percentage, too (93.0).
Through 14 games this season, Amoore is leading the team on 17.9 points per game and 7.4 assists per game. She is adding 2.3 rebounds per game, 1.0 steals per game and 0.4 blocks per game.
Next up for the Wildcats, Kentucky will play at Florida on Thursday, Jan. 9 at 5 p.m. ET in Gainesville, Florida, which will be broadcast on SEC Network.
