Molly Berezowitz Announces Transfer to Kentucky Volleyball
LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky Volleyball team and head coach Craig Skinner announced the addition of Molly Berezowitz to its roster Friday afternoon, as she transfers into Kentucky from Marquette.
Berezowitz joins Kentucky after having spent the past two seasons at Marquette, and will have two years of eligibility remaining at UK. The rising junior from Burlington, Wisconsin spent much of the 2024 season as Marquette’s libero and helped guide the Golden Eagles to a spot in the 2024 NCAA Regional Semifinals by traveling to Salt Lake City and knocking off the host Utah Utes in the second round.
“We are pumped to add Molly to our program!” UK head coach Craig Skinner said. “Her experience, mentality and enthusiasm will fill another need for us to compete for championships in 2025. We are looking forward to having her on campus soon. Go Cats!”
Berezowitz averaged 1.97 digs per set on the 2024 season with 213 total digs and recorded 15 aces while throwing in 0.40 assists per set, as well. She had a season and career-high 21 digs in Marquette’s aforementioned win at Utah in the NCAA Tournament, marking one of her 10 matches this year with 10 or more digs. She had 10+ digs in key non-conference wins over Western Kentucky and Dayton as well as tallying 13 digs against Wisconsin.
Molly is the younger sister of Maddie Berezowitz, who played at Kentucky from 2019-2022 and was a part of the 2020 NCAA National Championship winning team.
