For the third time this season, the Kentucky football team will hit the road to face a Top 10 opponent. This weekend, the Cats visit Austin for just the second time ever, facing No. 3 Texas (3:30 ET, ABC).
Kentucky is coming off a 48-6 win over Murray State last weekend at home. Freshman Jamarion Wilcox had his second straight 100-yard rushing game, posting a career high 123 yards against the Racers.
Texas won its third in a row last weekend, beating Arkansas 20-10 in Fayetteville. The Longhorns’ only loss this season was a 30-15 setback to Georgia on Oct. 19.
This is just the second meeting all-time between the schools. In 1951, Kentucky traveled to Texas and lost 7-6.

They’ve got a plethora of receivers, from outside to inside, and tight ends and the backs do a great job in the passing game as well. We’ve got a challenge, and we’re excited.”
