Men’s Soccer Prepares for Final Regular Season Contest

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky men’s soccer (4-5-6, 3-2-3 Sun Belt) is set to close the regular season schedule at Georgia State (4-7-5, 1-4-3 Sun Belt) on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. EST matchup at the GSU Soccer Complex.

The Wildcats enter the contest after a 1-1 draw with No. 6 Marshall to close the regular season home slate. Senior Logan Dorsey was the lone goal scorer for the Wildcats with an assist by sophomore Josh Gordon. Dorsey leads the team in goals scored with nine on the season while Gordon leads in assists with five.

Georgia State faces the final match of the regular season conference schedule following a 1-0 victory on the road at James Madison.

Kentucky and Georgia State hold an all-time series record of 2-0-1 (UK) with the first matchup taking place in 2013. The two programs last went head-to-head in the 2023 match slate which resulted in a 2-2 draw in Lexington, Ky.
