Men’s Soccer Closes Non-Conference Play Tuesday

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky men’s soccer (3-3-4, 2-0-2 Sun Belt) will host Bradley (4-6-1, 1-3 MVC) on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. EST matchup at The Bell Soccer Complex to close non-conference competition.

The Wildcats enter the contest after a 1-0 shutout of conference rival Old Dominion at home. Senior Logan Dorsey, assisted by Marqes Muir, was the lone goal scorer of the match. His successful shot was his fourth goal of the season and second game-winning score.

The Braves prepare for Tuesday following a 1-0 win over Belmont on the road in Nashville, Tenn. Bradley’s wins this season have also included Chicago State, Western Illinois and Purdue Fort Wayne.

Kentucky and Bradley hold an all-time series record of 2-1 (UK) with the first contest taking place in 1991. The two programs last went head-to-head in 1997 in Lexington where the Cats came out on top, 3-0.

The match with be Junior Wildcat Club Night featuring a custom Wildcat Squishmallow giveaway that will be available at the marketing table while supplies last. The UK College of Social Work will also be in attendance to promote sports social work.
