Men’s Soccer Prepares for Ranked Friday Matchup
LEXINGTON, Ky. – No. 16 Kentucky men’s soccer (1-0-1) is set to host No. 10 Wisconsin (4-0) on Friday for a 7:30 p.m. EST matchup at The Bell Soccer Complex.
The Wildcats enter the contest following a 2-2 draw against Virginia Tech on Monday evening while the Badgers travel to Lexington after notching a 2-1 win over RV Marquette.
The match will mark the second time in series history the two programs have faced off on the pitch. UK and UW last went head-to-head in Madison, Wis. in 2023 which resulted in a 1-0 Badger win.
Kentucky has recorded five different goal scorers so far in the 2024 match slate in Isaiah Chisolm, Logan Dorsey, Oliver Stavdal, Agustin Lopez and Nick Zielonka. UK currently sits tied for second in the Sun Belt Conference standings with Georgia Southern.
Friday’s match promotion will be Youth Day which will feature a rally towel giveaway and inflatables set up in the concourse.
