Kentucky Reveals 2024-25 Nonconference & Southeastern Conference Schedule
LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky women’s basketball program revealed its full schedule for the upcoming season Wednesday, featuring 16 home games in the $82 million dollar renovated Historic Memorial Coliseum, which includes visits from Louisville, LSU and new-to-the-conference Texas.
Tip times and TV designations will be announced at a later date.
Big Blue Nation will have two opportunities to check out the team prior to the official start to the season, first at Big Blue Madness inside Rupp Arena at Central Bank Center on Oct. 11 and followed by the Blue-White Preseason Event inside Historic Memorial Coliseum on Oct. 18.

The Wildcats tip off their season with five straight home games, playing host to USC Upstate on Nov. 4, Northern Kentucky on Nov. 7, Wofford on Nov. 12, Louisville on Nov. 16 and Purdue Fort Wayne on Nov. 18. The Cats then cap the month battling at the Music City Classic in Nashville, Tennessee, on Nov. 26 and Nov. 27. The Cats’ opponents will be announced at a later date.
Kentucky and North Carolina will then compete in the second annual SEC / Atlantic Coast Conference Challenge in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, on Dec. 5. That game is followed by playing host to Queens on Dec. 9, then going back on the road to face Purdue in West Lafayette, Indiana, on Dec. 14. UK concludes its nonconference schedule with matchups against Belmont on Dec. 20 and Western Kentucky on Dec. 28, both at Historic Memorial Coliseum.
Kentucky begins the conference schedule by playing host to Mississippi State on Jan. 2, before going on the road for four of its next five games.
The Wildcats play at Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tennessee, on Jan. 5 and at Florida in Gainesville, Florida, on Jan. 9. They return home to play host to Auburn on Jan. 12, before going back on the road to play at Georgia in Athens, Georgia, on Jan. 19 and at Texas A&M in Bryan-College Station, Texas, on Jan. 23. The Cats round out the month with home games against Arkansas on Jan. 26 and Alabama on Jan. 30, both in the newly remolded facility.
Kentucky begins February by playing newly added conference foes, Oklahoma and Texas, in two of its next three games.
UK will travel to the Oklahoma Sooners in Norman, Oklahoma, for a game on Feb. 2, then to the Ole Miss Rebels in Oxford, Mississippi, for a contest on Feb. 10. It will then host the Texas Longhorns on Feb. 13.
In its 50 years of varsity basketball, UK has never played at OSU and it has never hosted Texas.
Kentucky will then play host to Georgia on Feb. 16. The Lady Bulldogs are the lone opponents the Wildcats will face twice in the regular season. The Cats’ final four opponents of the regular season include Missouri in Columbia, Missouri, on Feb. 20, LSU and Tennessee at home on Feb. 23 and 27, respectively, and South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina, on March 2.
The 2025 SEC Tournament returns to the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina, from March 5-9.
