Four Men’s Golfers Named Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky men’s golf landed four student-athletes among the 2023-24 NCAA Division I Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America on Thursday.

Oakley Gee, Alex Goff, Campbell Kremer and Jansen Preston comprised the honorees for the Wildcats, giving the team the second most selections among schools in the Southeastern Conference. A total of 531 NCAA Division I athletes from 180 schools earned Cobalt Golf All-America honors this year.

In order to receive Division I All-America Scholar status from the GCAA in, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, participate in at least 50 percent of their team’s competitive rounds, maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.2 and have a stroke average under 76.0.

For both Goff and Kremer, 2023-24 marks their third-consecutive season receiving All-America Scholar status, while Gee and Preston both earned the recognition for the first time. All four student-athletes were also SEC academic honor roll selections this year.
