Women’s Tennis Prepares for SEC Weekend Road Trip

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky women’s tennis (7-7, 1-4 SEC) will travel to Southeastern Conference opponent LSU (10-6, 2-4 SEC) on Friday for a 6 p.m. EST matchup at the LSU Tennis Complex. The Wildcats will then travel to No. 11 Texas A&M (13-6, 5-1 SEC) on Sunday for a 1 p.m. afternoon contest at the Mitchell Tennis Center.

Kentucky enters Friday’s match after one conference 4-2 victory over Mississippi State at home, as well as one SEC loss to Ole Miss, 0-4, last Sunday. The Wildcats head into the weekend looking to gain more conference points in the win column.

The Tigers of LSU come into Friday’s contest with a pair of losses to No. 22 Tennessee and No. 10 Georgia. Meanwhile, the Aggies of A&M look to Sunday after a loss to UGA and win over the Volunteers. They will face Vanderbilt prior to the matchup with Kentucky.
