Captains Tori Orcutt and Zane Rosely Selected to SEC Swim & Dive Community Service Team
AUBURN, Ala. – Kentucky Swimming & Diving captains Tori Orcutt and Zane Rosely were each selected to the Southeastern Conference Swimming & Diving Community Service Teams for the 2023-24 season, the league office announced Tuesday.
The SEC sponsors Community Service teams for all 21 league sports, in which it looks to highlight an athlete from each school who gives back to their community in superior service efforts.
This serves as Orcutt’s third-consecutive selection to the Community Service team, after receiving the honor during both the 2022 and 2023 seasons. The senior from Ft. Walton Beach, Fla. has garnered over 100 hours of community service since the start of this academic year, and nearly 700 hours in her time at Kentucky. She has spent time helping at Southland’s Children Ministry, Amachi, God’s Pantry local elementary schools, and more. The two-time SEC Winter Academic Honor Roll honoree also created the Christmas Miracles Project at Kentucky, where she helped to bring the Christmas experience to local families in need for two years. Orcutt was also named to the 2021 First-Year Academic Honor Roll and is a member of the Air Force ROTC program at UK.
Rosely, a senior from White Lake, Michigan, has spent over 70 hours working extensively with Golfview Estates Neighborhood Association, where he assisted with neighborhood cleanup and delivering welcome kits to new residents. Additionally, he has spent time volunteering at God’s Pantry, a local Lexington food bank, the Salvation army and the Ronald McDonald house. The two-time CSCAA Academic All-America First Team swimmer owns top-10 times in five different events at Kentucky, was an “A-Finalist” at the 2023 SEC Championship in the 400 Individual Medley and an 2021 NCAA individual qualifier.
