Kentucky Men’s Soccer Announces 2024 Spring Schedule
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky Men’s Soccer will enter a five-match spring stretch beginning next month, the program announced on Monday. The schedule will feature two matches on the road with three home matches at the Wendell & Vickie Bell Soccer Complex.
Kicking off the spring season on March 2, the Cats will take on Lexington Sporting Club for a 6 p.m. EST matchup at Toyota Stadium at Georgetown College. One week later, Kentucky will then continue its road stint taking on FC Cincinnati 2 on March 10 for a Noon contest at TQL Stadium.
Following a two-week break, the Cats will make their spring debut at The Bell on March 24 to host Saint Louis for a 3 p.m. Sunday matinee. The two teams went head-to-head in the 2023 spring but have only recorded one match in 2000 which resulted in a 0-0 draw following four overtime periods. Kentucky advanced to the next round of the NCAA Tournament as a result of the 4-2 penalty shootout.
Fans can catch the Cats at home the following week as they host long-time rival Indiana at 6 p.m. on April 6. The two programs hold an all-time series record of 3-20-5 with the most recent matchup taking place last fall. The Hoosiers and Wildcats battled through 90 minutes for a 1-1 draw.
The final match of the spring will take place on April 20 where Kentucky will go head-to-head with Bellarmine at 6 p.m. in Lexington. The two programs last met on the pitch in the 2021 season where UK came out on top, 2-1.
All spring home contests at The Bell will include free entry for all members of Big Blue Nation.
