Kentucky STUNT Blanks Central Arkansas on Saturday
DALLAS – The Kentucky STUNT team completed a successful weekend at the Dallas Baptist Classic by shutting out Central Arkansas 23-0 on Saturday.
With the win, the Cats finished off a 3-1 weekend and moved to 4-2 on the season. The shutout is the second in Kentucky program history. Last season, the Cats blanked Tiffin, 24-0.
Kentucky took command of the game early, winning all four points in the partner stunts first quarter.
In the second quarter, pyramids and tosses, the Cats expanded their lead by earning three points to none for Central Arkansas. UK held a 7-0 lead at the break.
Kentucky continued its onslaught in the third quarter, jumps and tumbling. The Cats earned all four points in the quarter to build a commanding 11-0 lead.
In the fourth quarter, team routine, Kentucky dominated, winning all 12 points to none for the Bears.
Kentucky returns to action next weekend, as the Cats compete in the Davenport Tournament in Michigan.
