Kentucky Softball Featured 12 Times on National Television

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky Softball team will be featured 12 times on national television, it was announced by ESPN and its partners on Wednesday afternoon.

Kentucky will be competing in the highly prestigious Shriners Children’s Clearwater Invitational this February, returning to the event for the first time since 2019. The Wildcats will have two nationally-televised games in the event with its opener against North Carolina on Feb. 15 shown on ACC Network with Mark Neely and Jenny Dalton-Hill on the call followed by its matchup with No. 5 Texas on Feb. 17 on Longhorn Network with Women’s College World Series announcers Beth Mowins, Jessica Mendoza and Michele Smith on the call from Clearwater.

Kentucky’s opening Southeastern Conference series will see two national TV appearances for the Wildcats, with March 9 and 10 being noon ET starts live on SEC Network, the opening two of eight games for the Wildcats on SEC Network this season.

UK’s trip to the Swamp in Gainesville will see the Friday night series opener televised at 6 p.m. ET on SEC Network, followed by the series finale at Noon ET on ESPN2.

After single games televised in the Texas A&M and Georgia series, the SEC Network will televise all three contests of Kentucky at Auburn in the featured Saturday, Sunday, Monday series with the Monday night game airing in a standalone window at 7 p.m. ET on SEC Network.

Kentucky closes the regular season in Knoxville this season in a rare Thursday, Friday, Saturday series and the Thursday night game will be shown at 7 p.m. ET live on SEC Network.

Additional television windows will open as the season goes and weather impacts series, so stay locked into UKathletics.com for the most up-to-date information on schedules and television assignments. Additionally, all games not on linear television in the SEC and all home games as well will be shown on SEC Network+ and the ESPN app.
