Kentucky Divers Set for Auburn Diving Invite

by Greg Welsh

AUBURN, Ala. – Competing for one last time in 2023, Kentucky diving will close out the calendar year at the Auburn Diving Invitational, Dec. 17-20, at the James E. Martin Aquatic Center.

Sam Duncan, Gavin Hang, Devynn Bishop, Jodi Cobb, Abby Devereaux, Claire McDaniels and Kristy Pfaff will represent the Wildcats at a meet which will also feature entries from Auburn, Missouri and Illinois.

Divers will have the chance to compete in 1-meter springboard, 3-meter springboard, platform and the new team event format.

Already this season, Kentucky has seen five individuals combine for eight collective NCAA zone cuts. Devereaux leads the way with qualifying scores on all three apparatuses, while Duncan owns cuts on both the 1-meter and 3-meter springboards.
