UKTF Earns Twenty-Three USTFCCCA All-America Honors
LEXINGTON, Ky. — Fourteen Kentucky track & field student-athletes have earned 23 All-America honors for their performances at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, announced by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
The men’s team led the way with eight total honorees while the women had six honorees. The women, who had 11 first-team honors, collected a total of 12 awards with Masai Russell earning first team honors in all four events she competed in this weekend. Karimah Davis had three honors from her three competitions as well.
The men’s team earned a total of 11 All-America honors with two first-team honors and seven second-team honors. Brian Faust, Wayne Lawrence Jr. and Kennedy Lightner all earned two awards from the weekend.
