33 Wildcats Qualify for NCAA East Preliminaries

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky track and field will send 33 Wildcats, 17 from the women’s team and 16 from the men’s team to the NCAA Outdoor East Preliminary Championships in Jacksonville, Florida from May 24 through May 27.

The East Preliminaries will feature the top 48 in the eastern region in each event with the top 12 in each event qualifying for NCAA Championships in Austin, Texas. The rules are the same for the west preliminaries: the top 12 move on to Austin.

Below is a list of student-athletes competing in the meet along with the events they qualified for.
