Call to the Post: No. 21 Kentucky Hosts No. 3 South Carolina
Swept a week ago at Vanderbilt, No. 21 Kentucky will seek to get back on track this weekend when No. 3 South Carolina arrives at Kentucky Proud Park. Both teams are playing for positioning in the postseason.
Friday (6:30 p.m. ET) and Saturday (2 p.m.) will stream on SECN+, while Sunday’s game (2 p.m.) will air on the SEC Network.
The Wildcats (30-13, 11-10 Southeastern Conference) dropped a gutting 3-2 decision on Sunday in Nashville as No. 5 Vanderbilt scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the ninth to become walk-off winners. It was the first time UK had been swept since at Arkansas to open the 2022 conference schedule.
UK currently is No. 4 in the Ratings Percentage Index (RPI) and have the No. 2 strength of schedule in the country behind only Coastal Carolina.
