Kentucky to Honor Seniors in Last Home Meet of the Season

LEXINGTON, Ky. – No. 12 Kentucky gymnastics will host No. 9 Auburn for the final home meet of the 2023 campaign and last meet in Memorial Coliseum before renovations begin. Saturday will honor UK’s nine seniors for Senior Night at 12 p.m. EST.

The 2023 class is made up of Raina Albores, Makenna Clarke, Kaitlin Deguzman, Kassidy Howell, Ashlyn LaClair, Shealyn Luksik, Arianna Patterson, Elyssa Roberts and Raena Worley.

Kentucky is coming off a 197.575-198.150 defeat at No. 2 Florida while Auburn will enter Friday’s competition following a 197.550-196.075 win over No. 18 Georgia.

The matchup between UK and Auburn will mark the final Southeastern Conference meet of the regular-season schedule until postseason begins. The two programs last went head-to-head at Auburn last regular season where Kentucky fell 197.150-197.925 to the Tigers. The Wildcats also competed at the NCAA Regional last season held at Auburn which resulted in one UK victory and one UK defeat.

Kentucky will close out is 2023 campaign with a tri-meet at Illinois next week before looking to postseason competition.
