Kentucky Aims to Win Third Series of Young Season
Kentucky will endeavor to win its third series in as many attempts when it hosts Indiana State for a three-game series that is schedule to open late Friday afternoon at Kentucky Proud Park.

The Wildcats (6-2) are coming off a trouncing of previously unbeaten Morehead State and have outscored their opponents 30-1 the past two games. Junior infielder Reuben Church had a career-high four hits and reached base safely in all six plate appearances on Tuesday.
UK has won each of its first two series, 2-1, as it continues to try and stack wins before the brutality of the Southeastern Conference gauntlet begins. Last weekend it defeated a Wright State club that has been in an NCAA Regional each of the past two tournaments.
