Adam Rosipal, Tori Orcutt Named to SEC Community Service Team
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky swimming & diving members Adam Rosipal and Tori Orcutt were each selected to the SEC Swimming & Diving Community Service Teams for the 2022-23 season, it was announced by the league on Tuesday.
The SEC sponsors community service teams for all 21 league sponsored sports. The Community Service Team looks to highlight an athlete from each school who gives back to their community in superior service efforts.
Rosipal, a fifth-year from Bratislava, Slovakia, has contributed over 40 hours of community service to the Lexington area this school year. Rosipal has served with organizations such as the Ronald McDonald House, Salvation Army and God’s Pantry Food Bank. Rosipal was a CSCAA Scholar All-America honorable mention in both 2021 and 2022 and was named to the 2020-21 First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll, the Winter SEC Academic Honor Roll in 2021-22. In the pool, Rosipal has been an outstanding performer in distance events, ranking inside the program’s all-time top ten in the 500, 1000 and 1650 freestyle.
Orcutt earns her second selection to the SEC Community Service Team after receiving the honor last year. The junior has contributed an astounding 130+ hours of community service this academic year, working with Southland Children’s Ministry, AMACHI, Julius Marks Elementary School, Kentucky Swim Camps and more. A native of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Orcutt is also a member of the Air Force ROTC at UK and has won the community service award at Kentucky Athletics’ End of the Year CATSPY’S each of the last two years.
