The Kentucky baseball unveiled new black alternate jerseys, which will be worn beginning with the 2023 season. The updated tops coincide with replacement of the existing blue padding throughout Kentucky Proud Park to a fresh, black look.
The jersey will be worn for both home and away games. It was designed by Jeff Poole, the program’s head equipment coordinator.
The jersey features a script “Kentucky” in the school’s iconic blue across the chest with blue piping along the button line and around the neck. A Wildcat head and the Southeastern Conference logo are on the sleeves with a state silhouette on the back collar.
Kentucky opens the 2023 season at Elon on Friday, February 17 and the home portion of its schedule on Tuesday, February 21.
