LEXINGTON, Ky. – Members of the Big Blue Nation can now purchase their favorite Kentucky Wildcats name and number T-shirts customized with their favorite players’ names on the UK Team Shop.
Kentucky Athletics and Fanatics, UK’s industry-leading sports merchandise partner, officially launched the program with fall sports, allowing fans to wear customized apparel representing their favorite Wildcats.
Athletes will be compensated for each sale in line with the group licensing model that 100 percent of the players in the NFL, MLB, WNBA and MLSPA participate in.
Fans will be able to order tees with the name of any players that have opted into the group licensing program through OneTeam Partners.
Football, women’s soccer and volleyball name and number tees are now available. More sports are expected to follow as they are added.
