LEXINGTON, Ky. – Following a weeklong hiatus from competition, No. 14 Kentucky (4-0-1) will return to the pitch against Western Michigan (2-2-2) on Sunday at 4 p.m. ET, live on ESPN+.

The Wildcats last played to the tune of a 3-1 victory over Duquesne on Sept. 12. Team captain Bailey Rouse equalized the contest with his first career penalty kick just before halftime, while Ben Damge scored his first career goal with the game winner in the 60th minute. Three minutes later, Luke Andrews put the Dukes away for good with his second goal of the season.

The Broncos are fresh off a 1-1 draw with Purdue Fort Wayne after two overtime periods in Kalamazoo, Michigan, last Wednesday. The loss snapped a two-game winning streak comprised of shutouts over Dayton (3-0) and Butler (2-0) at home.

Sunday marks the 19th all-time meeting between former Mid-American Conference foes Kentucky and Western Michigan, with the Cats holding a 15-2-1 edge in the head-to-head series. The teams last met on Sept. 23, 2005 in Lexington, resulting in a scoreless draw after two overtimes.
