John Calipari Women’s Clinic Returns to Memorial Coliseum on Oct. 24

Please note that the location of this year’s Women’s Clinic has changed from Rupp Arena to Memorial Coliseum. 

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The John Calipari Women’s Clinic is back.
 
The women of Big Blue Nation will get a double dose of Kentucky men’s basketball on the weekend of the Blue-White Game (Oct. 22) with the return of the Women’s Clinic on Oct. 24.
 
Two days after the Wildcats’ intrasquad scrimmage, females of all ages* will be invited to take a behind-the-scenes look at the inner workings of the program with the always-popular Women’s Clinic.
 
This year’s Women’s Clinic will return to Memorial Coliseum. The annual clinic will take place from 3-6 p.m.
 
Ellen Calipari, wife of head coach John Calipari and mother of graduate assistant and former Kentucky player Brad Calipari, will serve as a co-host this year alongside BBN Tonight’s Anna Tarullo and Maggie Davis.
 
Registration is now open with the following options.

  • $150 – Clinic participation and signed panel basketball by Kentucky basketball (250 available)
  • $120 – Clinic participation and signed panel basketball by John Calipari
  • $99 – Clinic participation only

The Women’s Clinic is designed for females with all levels of basketball knowledge and experience and offers an exclusive inside look at the Kentucky men’s basketball program.
 
Due to COVID-19 safety and health recommendations, masks will be required for all attendees regardless of vaccination status.
 
Each participant will be guaranteed a small group picture with the entire team as well as an opportunity to take a photo with Coach Calipari and Ellen Calipari. Participants will be able to download their picture with the team for free for digital or print use after the clinic.
 
Always one of the highlights of the clinic, participants will have the opportunity to purchase one signed panel basketball during online registration. That ball is included in the above pricing options. Additional balls will not be for sale at the clinic. The only item that will be guaranteed to be signed by UK personnel is the basketball purchased during registration. Clinic attendees will be allowed to bring one additional item to be signed by Coach Calipari only during registration.
 
Please note that, due to COVID-19 precautions, all basketballs will be pre-signed before the event and available to pick up upon arrival.
 
Registration will be from 1:30-3 p.m. at the Rose Street entrance to Memorial Coliseum. 
 
Parking will be available in the parking lot outside the Joe Craft Center. 
 
Throughout the designated check-in time, attendees can enjoy a self-guided tour of the Joe Craft Center, including the Marksbury Players First Suite and John Calipari’s office. Men’s basketball staff members will be stationed throughout the facility for directions and questions. Food will be available during registration from on the Memorial Coliseum concourse on the Rose Street side from 1:30-3 p.m.
 
Following check-in, the clinic will begin at 3 p.m. Programming this season will include the introduction of the 2021-22 Kentucky men’s basketball team, a panel with the assistant coaching staff – including new assistants Orlando Antigua and Chin Coleman – an interactive presentation from strength and conditioning coach Robert Harris, a fashion show, a Q & A with Coach Calipari, and more.
 
Attendees are encouraged to wear comfortable attire (athletic shoes) and participate in activities and presentations at their own risk.

Prior to the Women’s Clinic, the Kentucky women’s basketball team will host its Blue-White Scrimmage in Memorial Coliseum from 1-3 p.m. Clinic attendees will be permitted to watch that prior to the clinic. 
 
This clinic is open to women only. Prospect-age females (currently in grades 7-12, junior college or prep school) are not permitted to register for or attend the clinic, per NCAA rules.
 
Once you have completed the registration process, you will receive a confirmation email with an itinerary. You will receive reminder emails with additional details of the event.
