UK Volleyball Earns Six AVCA All-America Honors, Three First Team

OMAHA, Neb. – The American Volleyball Coaches’ Association released its 2020 AVCA All-Americans on Wednesday morning, and the Kentucky Volleyball team had five players voted to the sports’ highest individual honor.
 
Kentucky placed three players on the first team with setter Madison Lilley and outside hitters Alli Stumler and Avery Skinner named to the 14-person team.
 
Sophomore middle blocker Azhani Tealer was named to the second team, and senior libero Gabby Curry was named a third-team All-American.
 
The five All-Americans is a new program record for Kentucky, who prior to this season had never had more than four in a single season.
 
Additionally, Madi Skinner was placed on the honorable mention All-America list for the season.

Kentucky plays Washington on Thursday night at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN in the NCAA National Semifinals from the CHI Health Center Arena in Omaha.
