Kentucky Track & Field Announces 2019-20 Indoor & Outdoor Schedule
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky announced its 2019-20 indoor and outdoor track and field schedule Friday, highlighted by its role as the host institution for the 2020 NCAA Outdoor East Regionals on May 28-30 as well as hosting four other meets throughout the 23-meet schedule.
There will be plenty of opportunities to catch the Wildcats at home as UK will host three indoor meets in Lexington, including the Blue and White Open on Dec. 6 to kick off the season, the Jim Green Invitational on Jan. 10 and 11, and the Rod McCravy Memorial from Jan. 24-25. Meanwhile, Kentucky will host two outdoor meets, the Kentucky Open on May 1-2 along with the NCAA Outdoor East Regionals.
Notably, the SEC Indoor Championships will be in College Station, Texas on Feb. 28-29 while the NCAA Indoor Championships will take place in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Mar. 13-14. The SEC Outdoor Championships will also be hosted in College Station on May 14-16, while the NCAA Outdoor Championships will be in Austin, Texas on Jun. 10-13.
