Kentucky Cross Country Races in Panorama Farms Invitational on Friday Morning
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Kentucky gets back into action after almost a month away from competition with the Panorama Farms Invitational on Friday in Charlottesville, Virginia with the meet beginning at 9:30 a.m. ET.
The men’s team will run in an 8,000-meter race beginning at 9:30, followed by the 6k women’s race that gets started at 10:15.
In the men’s race, there will be 18 schools competing. 16 schools have entered the meet on the women’s side of things.

Following Friday’s race, the next meet for the Wildcats will be next Saturday in Louisville for the Greater Louisville Classic.
Men’s Team Outlook
In the last time out for the men’s team, UK finished in third at the Miami Opener back on Aug. 30 in Oxford, Ohio. Freshman Aaron Withrow led the way in that meet after finishing in 11th, followed by Dylan Allen who was Kentucky’s No. 2 finisher with a 15th-place finish.
The men’s team will be comprised of Allen, Tanner Dowdy, Brennan Fields, Mclean Griffin, Patrick Schaefer, Gabriel Szalay, Trevor Warren, Shane Williams and Withrow in Charlottesville.
Women’s Team Outlook
The women’s team finished in fourth at the Miami Opener in their last time out. The Wildcats were led there by sophomore Kelli Walsh with a 12th-place finish while Sophie Carrier, Kaylie Kenne and Madisyn Peeples finished 17th, 18th and 19th.
For the race on Friday, UK will have Perri Bockrath, Rachel Boice, Carrier, Kenne, Kaitlyn Lacy, Mallory Liggett, Peeples, Caitlin Shepard and Walsh competing.
