Men’s Basketball Season Ticket Renewals Available

by Guy Ramsey

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Season tickets renewals for 2019-20 Kentucky men’s basketball are now available to last year’s season ticket holders.

As previously announced, a new pricing model will be in place for the 2019-20 season that creates additional options for fans. Season ticket prices in the lower level are subject to increases of 1-4%, while seven new pricing levels have been created in the upper level. In total, the annual cost for 64% of upper-level season tickets will decrease from 2018-19. Click here to view pricing and a new seating diagram for the renovated Rupp Arena.

Season ticket holders will receive an email with instructions on how to renew tickets for the upcoming season. Renewals may be made online at UKathletics.com/Renew. Invoices will be mailed later this month. The renewal deadline is Friday, Aug. 23.

Four-month and five-month payment plans are available to fans who renew online, allowing for more flexibility to spread out payments. Additionally, exclusive benefits are available to fans who complete the renewal process early. Season ticket holders who renew by Aug. 1 will receive two complimentary tickets to a select 2019 Kentucky football game and five bonus K Fund points.

Season ticket holders may also request tickets for the 2019 State Farm Champions Classic (Nov. 5), the 2019 CBS Sports Classic (Dec. 21), and the 2020 SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament (March 11-15). The priority deadline to request State Farm Champions Classic and CBS Sports Classic tickets is Aug. 30, while the priority deadline to request SEC Tournament tickets is Oct. 9.

Chair-back seating in the upper-level sideline is being installed in sections 211-217 and 228-234 through a project that will be completed prior to the start of the 2019-20 season. This project is being undertaken in response to years of feedback from fans asking for more comfortable seating in the upper level. Construction began this summer. After renovations, Rupp Arena will seat approximately 20,500.

Upper-level season ticket holders participated in a seat selection process that ended in June. Chair-back seating remained available throughout the course of the process, giving all fans the opportunity to select chair-back seats. 2018-19 season ticket holders who did not select seats were each contacted multiple times. Those season ticket holders may not select online, but have until Friday, July 12 to notify the ticket office of their selection. Season ticket holders who do not do so are not guaranteed to have the ability to renew.

UK Athletics anticipates that game-day parking and arena entry will continue to be impacted during the 2019-20 season. As additional information becomes available, UK Athletics will share it with fans. The latest information can be found online at UKathletics.com/RuppRenovation.

Fans interested in acquiring new tickets may still enter the men’s basketball season ticket lottery online. For more information on K Fund seating availability, please call 859-257-6300.

UK Athletics is excited to offer mobile entry to Kentucky men’s basketball season ticket holders. Kentucky will once again enter the 2019-20 season as a national title favorite in John Calipari’s 11th season as head coach. They will be joined by another talented crop of newcomers in facing another challenging home slate.
