- Kentucky used the starting combination of junior guard Jaida Roper, junior guard Amanda Paschal, senior guard Maci Morris, sophomore forward KeKe McKinney and sophomore forward Tatyana Wyatt.
- This was the first time this season that UK has used this starting combination.
- Senior guard Taylor Murray did not start and was not available in the game due to injury.
- Freshman guard Rhyne Howard did not start and was not available in the game due to injury.
- UK started the game on a 21-5 run before LSU ended the first half on a 9-0 run hitting three 3-pointers in the final two minutes of the quarter.
- UK shot 9-of-13 from the field in the first 10 minutes, while LSU was 5-of-16. UK scored eight points off six LSU turnovers, while LSU scored six points off five UK miscues.
- LSU answered UK’s 16-point lead in the first half with a 17-2 run in the final two minutes of the first quarter and first seven minutes of the second quarter to cut UK’s lead to 23-22.

- Morris now has 1,515 career points, which ranks ninth most in program history. She needs 48 more point to tie Sara Potts for 8th all-time in school history in points scored.
- Morris has 226 career 3-pointers made which ranks second in program history. She needs 45 more 3s to tie Sara Potts for most all-time.
- Morris has hit at least one 3-pointer in 31 straight games she has played in.
- Senior guard Taylor Murray did not play in the game due to an injury.
- Sophomore forward KeKe McKinney scored six points in the game with five rebounds.
- McKinney scored the final four points of the game after LSU tied the score 60-60 with just over a minute to go.
- Junior guard Jaida Roper scored 10 points with three assists in 33 minutes.
