UK Athletics is excited to offer you the opportunity to have your name, or that of a family member, permanently associated with the rich tradition of Kentucky Basketball. K Fund Bricks are available with a $1,000 contribution per brick and permanently embedded in the walkway outside of the entrance plaza of the men's & women's basketball practice facility, for all visitors to view. For an additional $500 you may purchase a Keepsake Brick which will read the same as your original. K Fund Bricks are not only a great idea for a birthday, graduation, or memorial, you will also earn 30 K Fund priority points for each personalized brick ordered. A Limited number of bricks are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Seven years ago, the K Fund introduced a new philanthropic program for the Big Blue Nation to impact the lives of our student-athletes: the Big Blue Initiative. At the time, we were proud to be on the cusp of the best Directors' Cup finish in school history: 25th.
Once again, we are on the cusp of another record finish. This time – as proof of the incredible growth our program has made – we are sixth in the latest Directors' Cup standings. We have your support to thank for that growth, but we aren't done yet.
As we work to provide the resources necessary to becoming the elite athletics department this university and the Commonwealth deserve, we are excited to announce a revamped Big Blue Initiative.
What was once a program that ran from May 1 through June 30 annually,
will now run July 1 through December 31 allowing fans more time to make an impact on 500+ student-athletes. Beginning July 1, K Fund donors can participate by increasing their giving by 15 percent from the previous fiscal year with new bonus priority point deadlines to consider. For example, if you gave $100 in 2018-19, we are asking that you give an additional $15 by one of the outlined bonus priority point deadlines listed below. If you gave $1,000 in 2018-19, that means an additional $150. As before, each dollar will go into our annual fund, which supports the total student-athlete experience at UK, providing everything from scholarships to athletic equipment to books to meals.
Beyond helping UK push toward our athletics director's bold Elite 1-3-5 vision, participants will receive K Fund bonus priority points on top of the regular three points per $100 donated, based upon when they join.
New Big Blue Initiative Priority Point Deadlines:
- September 6th, receive 20 bonus priority points
- October 31st, receive 10 bonus priority points
- December 31st, receive 5 bonus priority points
The earlier you Invest In Blue, the greater the reward.
