Kentucky Places 79 on SEC Spring Honor Roll

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Student-athletes from all of Kentucky’s spring teams combined to earn 79 total spots on the Southeastern Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced Wednesday.

The 2018 Spring SEC Academic Honor Roll is comprised of student-athletes in the sports of baseball, men’s and women’s golf, softball and men’s and women’s track & field. It is based on grades from the 2017 summer and fall terms, along with the 2018 spring term. Among other qualifications, student-athletes must have a 3.0 grade-point average to be on the honor roll.

Notably, four Kentucky teams finished in the top three of their respective sports in terms of most student-athletes on the honor roll, including men’s golf (9), women’s golf (6), softball (13) and men’s tennis (7).
