‘This is Kentucky Basketball’ Returns This Weekend
LEXINGTON, Ky. – “This is Kentucky Basketball,” a weekly inside look at the Kentucky basketball program, will air its first show of the season this weekend on WKYT, its affiliates, and online at UKathletics.com, CoachCal.com and WKYT.com.
The show includes weekly features on the team, behind-the-scenes access, interviews with players and staff members, highlights from the previous week’s games, appearances from head coach John Calipari and more.
This is Kentucky Basketball will air every Sunday at 11:30 a.m. on WKYT and 5:30 p.m. on CW, with the exception of the first show. This week’s show will air Saturday on WKYT at 1 p.m. UKathletics.com, CoachCal.com and WKYT.com will have a replay of each and every show.
Brent Carney, the director of digital media with the UK Sports Network, will serve as host of the show for the third season in a row.
