Softball Postpones Doubleheader With Georgetown

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky softball team has postponed its doubleheader scheduled for Friday against Georgetown to next Thursday, Oct. 8 due to inclement weather in the Lexington area. 

The Wildcats and Tigers will play one game on Oct. 8, and first pitch is slated for 5 p.m. ET. Admission to all fall home games is free of charge, while free parking is available in the lots surrounding John Cropp Stadium.

Thursday, Oct. 8 vs. Georgetown – John Cropp Stadium (Lexington, Ky.) – 5 p.m. ET

Saturday, Oct. 10 vs. Western Kentucky (DH) – John Cropp Stadium (Lexington, Ky.) – 1 p.m. ET

Sunday, Oct. 11 vs. Kent State (11 a.m. ET) and vs. Ohio State (1 p.m. ET) – Buckeye Field (Columbus, Ohio)
