• With the win, Kentucky is 4-1, 2-1 in the Southeastern Conference. South Carolina is 3-3, 2-3 in the SEC.
• South Carolina leads the all-time series 17-9-1.
  • UK’s win was its first against South Carolina since 2010.
  • South Carolina leads the series in games played in Lexington, 9-5.
• Kentucky will return to action on Saturday, playing host to Louisiana-Monroe at 12 p.m. ET at Commonwealth Stadium.

• Kentucky scored 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to post its first fourth-quarter comeback win since a 2011 win over Ole Miss.

  Jojo Kemp
  rushed a career-high 17 times for a career-best 131 yards and three touchdowns.
  • Kemp is the first UK player with three rushing touchdowns since CoShik Williams vs. Charleston Southern in 2010.
  • Kemp’s outing eclipsed his career highs of 15 rushes vs. Mississippi State in 2013 and 80 rushing yards vs. Louisville in 2013.
  • Kemp is the first player to rush for 100 yards since Braylon Heard rushed for 116 yards in the season opener vs. UT Martin.
  • Kemp’s three touchdowns give him four on the year and seven in his career.
  • It marked Kemp’s first career multi-touchdown game.
• Safety
  A.J. Stamps, in his first season at UK as a junior-college transfer, recorded his third career interception, returning it 50 yards in the second quarter.
  • Stamps has interceptions in three of his first five career games.
  • Stamps set a new career-high with two pass break-ups.
  • Stamps finished with seven tackles, his most since a career-best eight tackles in the season opener vs. UT Martin.
• Junior LB
  Josh Forrest
  – a native of Paducah, Ky. – totaled a career-high 15 tackles.
  • It marked the second career double-digit tackle game for Forrest, also going for 10 tackles at Florida in 2014.
  • Forrest’s 14 tackles are the most for a UK player since Avery Williamson had 15 tackles in 2013 vs. Louisville.
• Senior DE/LB Alvin “Bud” Dupree started his team-leading 31st consecutive game.
  • Dupree totaled his first career interception, returning it six yards for his first career touchdown.
  • It was Kentucky’s first interception return for a touchdown since Sam Maxwell vs. Tennessee in 2009.
• Sophomore QB
  Patrick Towles
  made his fifth career start, going 20-for-29 for 208 yards, one TD and no interceptions.
  • Towles connected on a 48-yard TD pass to give UK the lead in the third quarter.
  • Towles now has eight passing touchdowns on the year.
• Freshman kicker
  Austin MacGinnis
  made a 47-yard field goal to end the first half.
  • MacGinnis is now 2-for-4 from 40-49 yards and is 8-for-12 on the year.
  • MacGinnis connected on 6-of-6 PAT attempts and is now 18-for-18 on the year.

  Landon Foster
  punted four times for 159 yards, with two downed inside the 20.
  • Foster now has 12 punts downed inside the 20 in 2014 and 40 in his career.

  Braylon Heard
  returned his first career kickoff.
  • Heard’s 38-yard TD rush was his longest since a 73-yard TD run in the season opener vs. UT Martin.
