Kentucky advanced to the championship game of the Hall of Fame Tip-Off Tournament with an 85-47 win over Penn State.

Doron Lamb led all scorers with a season-high 26 points. It was Lamb’s sixth-career 20-point game and his first this season.
Kyle Wiltjer also scored in double-figures with a personal-best 19 points and Terrence Jones just missed a double-double with 15 points and nine rebounds. Jones also chipped in five assists, tying his career high.
UK shot 50 pct. (10-20) from the 3-point line and dished out 19 assists for the second straight game.

Located in Norfolk, Va., (591 miles east of Lexington), Old Dominion is in the Colonial Athletic Conference.
The Monarchs advanced to the championship game with a 68-66 overtime win over South Florida.
Kent Bazemore scored a game-high 23 points in the win over USF. He pulled down nine rebounds and collected seven steals.
Old Dominion is under the tutelage of head coach Blaine Taylor. Taylor, ODU’s all-time winningest coach, has led the Monarchs to seven straight post season tournaments, including four trips to the NCAA since 2005. The Monarchs finished the 2011 season with a 27-7 record. ODU captured its second straight CAA title and advanced to the NCAA Tournament as a nine seed before losing at the buzzer to eighth seeded Butler. Taylor is the only CAA coach to win back-to-back CAA crowns.
Series History
This is only the second meeting between Kentucky and Old Dominion. The Wildcats won the only other meeting, 88-69 in the 1992 NCAA Tournament in Worcester, Mass.
Coincidentally, Worcester, Mass. is located just 52 miles away from Springfield, Mass. home of the Basketball Hall of Fame, the sponsor of the tournament.
