LEXINGTON, Ky. — Kentucky men’s soccer juniors Josh Albers and Brad Walker have been named among the TopDrawerSoccer.com listing of the top-20 players in Conference USA, it was announced.

Albers was tabbed as the 13th-best player in the league and Walker was noted as the 20th-best player in the league in the rankings.

A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Albers has played in five games this season, firing three shots, including one on goal. In his two-year UK career, Albers, who transferred to UK from Dayton , has played in 15 games with two starts, totaling one goal and one assist, firing 11 shots, with his goal coming as a game-winner.

Walker, a 6-foot-4 native of Sydney, Australia, has been a fixture on the backline for the Wildcats during his first three seasons. A preseason All-Conference USA selection, Walker has spent time in the midfield and on the backline this year, starting all 10 games with one assist. In his three-year career, Walker has played in 49 games with 45 starts, totaling two goals and two assists, charting one game-winning goal.

Kentucky (4-5-1, 1-0 C-USA) posted a 2-1 comeback win at Marshall on Wednesday night in the league lidlifter, getting goals from freshman Tyler Riggs and the golden goal from Sam Brooks, just 51 seconds into overtime. The Wildcats return to action on Saturday, traveling to face UAB at 8 p.m. ET in Birmingham, Ala.
