HAVANA, Cuba – Kentucky sprinter Rondel Sorrillo added two more medals to his collection last weekend at the Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Games at the Pan American Stadium in Havana, Cuba.
Trinidad and Tobago’s 4x100m relay team won gold completing the one-lap race in a time of 38.73. The team featuring UK’s Sorrillo, Emmanuel Callender, Jovon Toppin and Keston Bledman took home one of two gold medals for their home country.
After winning his preliminary heat, Sorrillo brought home a silver medal in the men’s 200m dash final by finishing in 20.72 seconds just behind winner Nickel Ashmeade (20.54) of Jamaica.
