Tulsa, Okla.? Two University of Kentucky men?s tennis players were in action in the qualifying tournament of the Polo Ralph Lauren All-American Tennis Championships held in Tulsa, Okla.

Senior Peter Bjork opened the qualifying first round with a two-set victory over Texas Tech?s Dimitrio Martinez, 6-0, 7-5. With the win, Bjork advanced to face Ole Miss? Jakob Klaeson. Klaeson topped the Wildcat in two sets, 7-6 (4), 7-5.

Sophomore Bruno Agostinelli was the other Cat in action this week. Agostinelli faced TCU?s Cosmin Cotet and the first round match needed three sets before a winner was decided. Cotet took the first set 6-2, but Agostinelli responded with a 6-2 win of his own. In the deciding set, Cotet won 6-4.

Kentucky returns to action this weekend when they play in the Louisville Invitational and the Bollettieri Invitational.
